Welcome to Wassaw National Wildlife Refuge located on the Georgia coast near Savannah. This place is located on the Atlantic Flyway and thus helps protect wildlife habitat for migratory birds and many others.

The Refuge's Official website says 10,053 acres but the Chatham County GIS Map gives the number below as the Government owned acreage. It's possible that some parcels are privately owned.
