Welcome to the largest conservation area managed by Washington County, the beautiful Brinton Timber Park in Brighton, Iowa on the banks of the Skunk River. The county first purchased this land back in 1967. It is a beautiful wilderness of forest with over six miles of multipurpose trails waiting to be explored. Some of the resident wildlife include white-tailed deer, rabbits, and squirrels. It is a great place for wildlife.
