With it's scenic picnic areas and beautiful Lake Darling Lodge, Lake Darling State Park is a very popular place for picnics, weddings, and other events. The park was first established in 1950 and was named for J.N. Darling a local cartoonist and conservationist.

Cabins: The park's cabins have a 2 night minimum and each contain a refrigerator, a microwave, and outdoor fire pit.

Camping: 51 of the campsites have electrical hookups and 18 have full hookups.

Boating: There is a no wake speed limit on the lake. The Lake is full of bass, catfish, carp, and many others.

Trails: Hikers will love the wooded hiking trails here. There is even an old 19th century cemetery that can be visited.
