Grandview Park is a large community park located in Des Moines, Iowa. This is one of the larger, and older parks operated by the City of Des Moines, having been first established in 1894. People flock here for it's beautiful scenery, 18 hole disc golf course, it's two tennis courts, a picnic area with grills, and much more. The basketball court is only a half court. Come out and have fun.

When visiting any park in Des Moines, Iowa please respect the rules. 

*Conducting any organized event in any city park requires that one obtain special permission from the city. *Consumption of alcoholic beverages is strictly forbidden in any city park. 

*All burning is restricted to BBQ grills. 

*Please respect all park property including buildings, fences, animals, and plants. 

*For the safety of other park users, all glass objects are prohibited. 

*No littering, please place all trash in proper containers, they are there for a reason. Please help keep Des Moines City Parks clean. 

 *All parks open at 6 a.m. and close 30 minutes past dusk. 

*The following activities are only allowed in designated areas; boating, flying remote-controlled aircraft, golfing, swimming.
