Water Works Park is a large and beautiful urban park on the banks of the Raccoon River in Des Moines, Iowa. Many people flock here to enjoy the paved multipurpose trails or to have cookouts in it's picnic area. The open fields are great for a game of soccer or kite-flying on windy days.
