Welcome to Iowa's largest urban forest, the beautiful Brown's Woods located on the banks of the Raccoon River in West Demoines. This park was named for a successful 19th century Des Moines lawyer who used to own one of the parcel's that makes up todays Brown's Woods, Tallmadge E. Brown.
