Welcome to the highest point above sea level in Lake County, Gander Mountain Forest Preserve! The 125 foot hill resulted from retreating glaciers at the end of the last ice age. Although hiking is allowed anywhere in the preserve, bikes can only stay on the paved trails. Come on out and explore.
