Chicago Illinois Parks

Welcome to Chicago's Bohn Park located along the railroad tracks in the Morgan Park Neighborhood. This park was generously donated to the community by real estate developers just after the Civil War. For many years it was known as Depot Park or The Common and in the early 20th century renouned landscape architect Jens Jensen did some designs at this park. Eventually the park was renamed for Henry Bohn, who was first first superintendent of the Calumet Park District, which managed this park before the City of Chicago did.
