Welcome to Chicago's California Park located on the banks of the Chicago River. This urban playground was first established in 1917 and is the site of the only indoor ice arena and tennis courts to be managed by the city's park district. The McFetridge Sports Center has programs for people of all ages and is utilized by many members of the local community. The park shares it's name with nearby California Avenue which is named for the State of California.
