Welcome to Chicago's Carpenter Playlot Park located in the Englewood neighborhood. This park was first established in 1957 and was named for a local citizen Philo Carpenter who migrated to the region from New York and started his own drug store. He was a vocal advocate for the abolition of slavery and also served as director fo the Chicago Theological Seminary. Come out and bring the kids to play on the colorful playground.
