Welcome to Chicago's Catalpa Park. This half acre urban playground was first established by the Chicago Park District in 1970 in order to meet the recreational needs of the kids in the Archer Heights Neighborhood. Catalpa is a species of tree that can grow up to 90 feet in height in poor soil conditions. Come out and have fun!
