Coliseum Park

Chicago, Illinois

Welcome to Chicago's Coliseum Park located in the Near South community. This park got it's name due to the fact that a Coliseum was once in this area in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The Coliseum was dedicated by President William McKinley and it was actually built with the bricks of a Confederate POW camp from the Civil War.
