Welcome to Davis Park located in Chicago, Illinois. This park was first established in 1955 with the intent to provide recreational space in a neighborhood that was under-served. The parks bureau decided to name the park in honor of Margaret Davis, a woman who was an active member of her community and advocated for the creation of additional parks for the city's kids. In the early 1990's Davis Park underwent a makeover and today it offers a basketball court and a playground for the kids. So whether you are a resident of the Chicago area or just visiting, come out and have fun!
