Welcome to Harrison Park located in Chicago's Lower West Side. This park was first established by the City in 1912 in order to provide breathing room and recreational space for the residents of the area. Before that time it was previously used as a lime kiln but over the years the kiln was converted into an area with wading pools, gardens, tennis courts, volleyball courts and many other wonderful things. This park is named in honor of one of the most popular mayors in Chicago's history, Carter Harrison, who held the office from 1879 until 1893. Come out and have fun.

To contact the office please call 312-746-5491.
