Chicago Illinois Parks

Welcome to Chicago's Heritage Green Park. Though one of the newer parks in the system, first established in 2005 as Park 537, it is located next door to one of the oldest pre-fire buildings in Chicago, the St. Patrick's Cathedral. In 2007 it was renamed Heritage Green Park. Today it is a popular community park and is well known for it's public art including the sculpture Grainne, developed by Irish artist Maurice Harron.
