Welcome to Chicago's Joseph Higgins Smith Park located in the West Town Community. This 10 acre urban playground is named after Joseph Higgins Smith, a man who served as the local alderman for nearly two decades from 1914 until 1933. One of the more unique features of this park is a World War II memorial and artillery cannon. It is also the site of the annual Ukrainian festival.
