Chicago's Kilbourn Park is a 12 acre recreation area that is active 12 months a year. It is located in the Old Irving Park section about 10 blocks west of Interstate 90. One of the features that keeps this place active is it's greenhouse which attracts many local garden lovers. Another unique feature is it's soccer field made out of recycled shoes. The Nike corporation helped make this possible. All of the athletic facilities are lighted so people can play at night.
