Welcome to La Follette Park in Chicago's Austin neighborhood. This park was designed by landscape architect Jens Jensen back when it was first established in 1925. Over 100,000 people signed a petition for the park to be named after Robert La Follette who served a long career in politics in both the United States House of Representatives as well as Senate and also three terms as Governor of Wisconsin. Today this park boasts numerous athletic facilities, beautifully landscaped gardens, and historic buildings. Come out and enjoy.
