Welcome to Chicago's wonderful McKinley Park. This urban recreation area was first established in the fall of 1901 just over a month after the 25th President of the United States William McKinley, for whom it is named, was assassinated. Before this land was a public park it was site of the Brighton Park race track. Today it is a very popular public park with annual events such as movies and halloween festivities. The athletic facilities are lighted so people can play at night.

To contact the park office please call 312-747-6527.
