Chicago's Olympia Park took it's name after Olympia Avenue which really started to grow in the early 20th century. Recreational spaces were growing in need and finally in 1925 the land was first purchased. It has received numerous improvements over the years. The community center has programs for little kids, big kids, and even adults.
