Welcome to Chicago's River Park located on the banks of the Chicago River. This park first opened to the public on the 4th of July in 1920 and has been a popular recreation area that has seen many improvements over many decades. The tennis courts are lighted so people can play at night. Come out and score some soccer goals, bring the kids to the playground, launch a kayak on the Chicago River, have fun.
