Welcome to Chicago's Sauganash Park located in the neighborhood of the same name. Both the neighborhood and the park were named after the famous Potawatomi Chief who was actually born to an Irish father and became a local resident in 1820. The park itself was first established in 1928 and for many decades has offered many programs for kids including youth sports, daycare, and summer camp. One can also access the Valley Line Trail from here. Two of the four tennis courts are lighted so people can play at night.
