Welcome to Chicago's Schreiber Playground Park located in the Rogers Park community. This was one of many playgrounds established in order to meet the post World War II recreational needs. The park is named for a family that immigrated to the region from Germany and started a working farm. This park offers many programs for people of all ages. These include after school programs for kids and a walking club for adults. The basketball court has lights so people can play at night.
