Welcome to Chicago's Senka Park located southwest of downtown not far from the Midway Airport. Before this land was purchased by the City of Chicago it was once a railyard owned and operated by the Grand Trunk Western Railroad. This park is named for a man named Edward "Duke" Senka, who worked for the Chicago Park District for over 40 years until his death in 1983. He started off as a physical instructor and finished as supervisor of recreation. Today this park named in his memory has a roller-hockey court, two volleyball courts, six half basketball courts, two ball diamonds, and much more. So whether you live in the Chicago area or are just visiting come out and enjoy this park, shoot some hoops, bring the kids, have some fun! The soccer players may or may not have to bring their own goals.

To contact the park office please call 312-747-4386.
