Chicago's Taylor-Lauridsen Playground Park is an active urban recreation area that was established in the early roaring 1920's in order to meet growing recreational needs for thousands of people. After World War II many improvements were made. The community center offers many programs for kids including youth sports, summer day camp, and after school programs during the school year.
