Welcome to Chicago's Vittum Park located in the Garfield Ridge section. This park was one of many that were established in order to meet the growing recreational needs of the post World War II era. It is named for an active member of her local community, Harriet Elizabeth Vittum who was known by some as the "First Lady of the Needy."
