Welcome to Chicago's Weisman Playlot Park located in the Lakeview section. This park was one of many that were established in order to meet the growing recreational needs of the post World War II era. It is named for Albert Weisman who migrated to the region from Saint Louis and was a careered journalist, teacher, an active community member.
