Prairie Lakes Park

The beautiful Prairie Lakes Park is one of the larger and more active community recreation areas in Des Plaines, Illinois. It has a community center with many programs including a fitness center. The full basketball court and two sand volleyball courts are lighted so people can play at night. The multipurpose field is huge, big enough for several soccer fields and is also a great place for kite-flying when the weather permits.

This park is also home to the Mountain View Adventure Center located at 510 East Algonquin Road

*Skateboards are prohibited on all playgrounds, pavilions, benches, and tennis courts.

*The following are all prohibited; feeding wild animals, golfing, consumption of alcoholic beverages, motorized vehicles (except parking lots), defacing public property, foul language, causing bodily harm to other users, dogs.
