Brunner Family Forest Preserve

Dundee, Illinois

Welcome to the beautiful Brunner Family Forest Preserve located on the banks of the Fox River in Dundee, Illinois. This preserve is relatively new and was first established in the Fall of 2008. It helps to protect some of the most important wildlife habitat in Kane County. Some of the resident wildlife include white-tailed deer, chipmunks, raccoons, squirrels, and even bald eagles. The Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation helped make the purchase of this place possible. The open field along the Brunner Trail is a great place for kite-flying on windy days.
