Welcome to Foundry Park located on the banks of the Fox River in Elgin, Illinois. Come out and walk on the trails. The historic windmill on this park's land operated for over half a century from 1888 to 1948. Windmills declined in popularity after World War II so many including this one were shut down.

Elgin Park Ordinances

*All motor vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey 15 m.p.h. speed limit and all State of Illinois traffic laws.

*Don't be a litterbug. Please put all trash in proper containers.

*Consumption of alcoholic beverages requires special permit.

*Do not disturb any plants or animals.

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at dawn and close at dusk.

*All dogs must be leashed.

*All fires are restricted to picnic grills.
