Butler Park

Welcome to Butler Park located on the banks of the Des Plaines River in Evanston, Illinois. This suburban Chicago community park has paved multipurpose trails, great views of the river, a playground, for the kids, and more. It also gives wildlife habitat to ducks, Canadian geese, peregrine falcons, squirrels, and many others. Come out and explore!

*Unless otherwise posted all city parks open at 6 a.m. and close at 11 p.m.

*Alcoholic beverages, narcotics, and glass containers are prohibited.

*Please use all athletic courts only for their designated purposes.

*All motor vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all State of Illinois traffic laws.

*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.
