Welcome to the Lake Carina Forest Preserve! Though small in size the preserve offers access to the Des Plaines River Trail as well as a fishing pier on the 23 acre Lake Carina. Some of the fish to be caught include largemouth bass, northern pike, bluegill, and crappie. This is also a great place for birdwatching as one can catch a glimpse of yellow warblers, eastern kingbirds, northern orioles, and several species of herons. Come on out and explore!
