Augusta Park is a beautiful little neighborhood park located in Vernon Hills, Illinois. This land was generously donated to the village in 1981 and the following year many improvements ewre made including new trees and a playground. In 1999 the playground received  a makeover. The nearby sledding hill is popular on snowy winter days. Come on out and have fun!

Vernon Hills Park District Rules

*All animals must be leashed (no longer than 6 feet) and waste removed.

*The following are prohibited in all recreation areas operated by the City of Vernon Hills; foul langugage, threatening behavior, littering, panhandling, glass objects, fireworks, alcohol, narcotics

*All vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all traffic laws.

*All solicitation and sales require special permit.

*Please respect all park property. Tree climbing is prohibited.

*All picnic parties 20 people or more require special permit.
