Welcome to Foster Park located in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Park History: The land that is now Foster Park was donated to the City of Fort Wayne by Samuel and Colonel David Foster and their families. This beautiful park protects the banks of the St. Mary's River for nearly two miles and initially contained 67 acres of forest. Over the years the Foster's made another donation of 40 acres and in the roaring 1920's the City of Fort Wayne purchased an additional 111 acres to bring the park to it's present day size of 218 and doubling the park's riverbank lands to four miles.

For the lover of the outdoors Foster Park boasts an 18 hole golf course, two picnic pavilions with a combined capacity of 464 people, a dog park (No pregnant dogs), baseball fields, a soccer field, a multipurpose Rivergreenway trail, and so much more. Come on out and have fun.
