Perrin Family Park
Welcome to Perrin Family Park in Jeffersonville, Indiana. This park's landscape was carved out by glacial retreat over 100,000 years ago when the Illinoisian Glacier slowly melted. In more recent times it was the territory of the Shawnee Tribe who left behind many artifacts to be found. In 1783 a man named George Rogers Clark became the first legal owner and in 1943 it finally fell into the land's last owners until the City of Jeffersonville purchased it in 1991, the Perrin Family, for whom the park is named. The park's picnic area has grills.
