Buffalo Park

Welcome to Buffalo Park in Wichita, Kansas. The picnic area has grills and the baseball/softball facility is a backstop and the soccer field is informal so please bring your own goals. Many people come here on hot summer days to cool down at the water playground.

Wichita Park Rules

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 6:00 a.m. and close at midnight.

*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, weapons, fireworks, littering, gambling, hunting, harming wild animals.

*The following require special permits; sales, parades, overnight camping, amplified sound, landing of hang-gliders, hot air balloons or skydivers.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, fishing, motor vehicles, organized athletic play, horseback riding, swimming, golfing, bicycles, flying remote control aircraft, archery.

*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.

*All persons aged 14 and up are prohibited from using the playground.
