Wichita Kansas Parks
Welcome to Finley Ross Park in downtown Wichita, Kansas. This park was first established in 1970 and was named for an important person in the city's history who served as mayor at the turn of the 20th century.
Wichita Park Rules
*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 6:00 a.m. and close at midnight.
*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, weapons, fireworks, littering, gambling, hunting, harming wild animals.
*The following require special permits; sales, parades, overnight camping, amplified sound, landing of hang-gliders, hot air balloons or skydivers.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, fishing, motor vehicles, organized athletic play, horseback riding, swimming, golfing, bicycles, flying remote control aircraft, archery.
*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.
*All persons aged 14 and up are prohibited from using the playground.
