Friendship Park

Welcome to Friendship Park in Wichita, Kansas. This park was first established in 1956 and expanded in 1981. Come out and score some soccer goals and shoot some baskets.

Wichita Park Rules

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 6:00 a.m. and close at midnight.

*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, weapons, fireworks, littering, gambling, hunting, harming wild animals.

*The following require special permits; sales, parades, overnight camping, amplified sound, landing of hang-gliders, hot air balloons or skydivers.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, fishing, motor vehicles, organized athletic play, horseback riding, swimming, golfing, bicycles, flying remote control aircraft, archery.

*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.

*All persons aged 14 and up are prohibited from using the playground.
