Welcome to Garvey Park located on the banks of the Little Arkansas River in Wichita, Kansas. This land first became a park in 1998 when the YMCA generously donated the land. Come out and explore the Little Arkansas River Bike Trail.

Wichita Park Rules
 

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 6:00 a.m. and close at midnight.

*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, weapons, fireworks, littering, gambling, hunting, harming wild animals.

*The following require special permits; sales, parades, overnight camping, amplified sound, landing of hang-gliders, hot air balloons or skydivers.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, fishing, motor vehicles, organized athletic play, horseback riding, swimming, golfing, bicycles, flying remote control aircraft, archery.

*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.

*All persons aged 14 and up are prohibited from using the playground.
