Sycamore Park

Welcome to Sycamore Park in Wichita, Kansas. This park was first established in the early 1970's with assistance from the State of Kansas as well as the Federal Land and Water Conservation Fund. The full basketball court and the two tennis courts are lighted so people can play at night.

Wichita Park Rules

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 6:00 a.m. and close at midnight.

*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, weapons, fireworks, littering, gambling, hunting, harming wild animals.

*The following require special permits; sales, parades, overnight camping, amplified sound, landing of hang-gliders, hot air balloons or skydivers.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, fishing, motor vehicles, organized athletic play, horseback riding, swimming, golfing, bicycles, flying remote control aircraft, archery.

*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.

*All persons aged 14 and up are prohibited from using the playground.
