Olmsted Park

Boston, Massachusetts

Welcome to Boston's beautiful and historic and heavily forested Olmstead Park, named for legendary Landscape Architect Frederick Law Olmstead. Olmstead once said about this land "the locality at present is very attractive, including as it does, Ward's Pond with it's verdure clad, precipitous banks, a steep wooded hill, several groves, and two meadows…" This was RecPlanet place of the day on February 1, 2015, the day the Patriots won Super Bowl 49.
