Welcome to Greenough Pond Conservation Area in Carlisle, Massachusetts. This is the Town of Carlisle's largest Conservation Area and was first established in 1973 when they purchased the land from it's previous owner Henry Vose Greenough. The land has a long and diverse history of human use from being hunting and fishing grounds for the Native American tribes, to training grounds for Revolutionary War soldiers, to agricultural purposes, and now for conservation and recreation purposes. Come out and hike the trails and you may see some nice rock outcrops, wildlife, or even see the old historic barn.

To contact the Carlisle park office please call 978-759-7610.
