Welcome to Gambrill State Park located in western Maryland near the town of Frederick in the Catoctin Mountain region. Come out and explore over 16 miles of multipurpose trails or come to the summit of High Knob for some beautiful views of the surrounding region.
Camping and Lodging: Gambrill State Park's Rock Run Campground has 28 sites out of which 9 of them are only for tents, 6 with electrical hookups, and 13 are basic. Dump stations and bath houses are located nearby. For those who would rather sleep indoors the park also has 4 electrified cabins.
