Crow Wing State Park
Welcome to Crow Wing State Park located in Brainerd, Minnesota.
Park History: To this day, the origins of the name Crow Wing are still debated. Some say that it was the mistranslation of an Ojibwe term for Raven or Raven feather. Others say that it's because an island located at the confluence of the Mississippi and Crow Wing Rivers is shaped like a crow's wing. But no matter what the origins the park offers numerous recreational opportunities for visitors as well as habitat for deer, foxes, coyotes, and other species.
For the lover of the outdoors Crow Wing State Park boasts over 18 miles of multipurpose trails, 59 campsites, and so much more. Come on out and explore.
12 of the park's campsites have electricity. To contact the office please call 218-825-3075.
