Welcome to the most popular recreational area in the City of Minneapolis Parks system, the magnificent Chain of Lakes Park. This beautiful park encompasses five of the more than 10,000 lakes in the State of Minnesota, Calhoun, Brownie, Lake of the Isles, Harriet, and Cedar and offers over 12 miles of multipurpose trails for all seasons, swimming beaches, a bandstand, a picnic area with grills, sand volleyball courts, fishing docks, and much more. This park also gives wildlife habitat to numerous turtles, blue herons, red-tailed hawks, grey squirrels, and many others. Come out and explore!
