Welcome to Great Piece Meadows Preserve located on the banks of the Passaic River in Fairfield, New Jersey. This natural park was acquired in phases over the years with local organizations helping to acquire the first parcels in the 1960's. Today it is nearly 1,200 acres in size.

Wildlife: This forest and wetland preserve helps protect the home of blue herons, frogs, turtles, deer, hawks, owls, and many others. Please treat their home with respect when visiting.
