Waterlands Park and Ferrell Field

Welcome to Waterlands Park and Ferrell Field located on the banks of the East Branch of the Rahway River in South Orange, New Jersey. All of the athletic fields have lights to allow for evening games.

Ferrill Field can be accessed at 298 Walton Avenue. These 2 parks touch each other so they share a profile.

South Orange New Jersey Park Ordinances

*All parks open at dawn and close at dusk except for the lighted areas which close at 10:00 p.m.

*The following are prohibited; advertising, alcohol, defacing public property, harming wildlife, littering, remote control aircraft, weapons.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles, skating, sledding, smoking.

*The following require special permits; camping, sales.

*Playgrounds are for people 13 years of age and younger.

*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.
