Welcome to Danny Hommel Memorial Park in Brentwood, New York, a Long Island community. Sections of this park are located on the campus of North Elementary School so please use those sections only when school is not in session.

Islip New York Park Ordinances

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 8:00 a.m. year round and close at 9:00 p.m. from Memorial Day to Labor Day and at 5:00 p.m. all other times of the year.

*All persons ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

*The following are prohibited; alcohol, defacing public property, harming wildlife, littering, pets.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles.
