Welcome to Roberto Clemente Park in Brentwood, New York, a long Island community. This park is named in memory of a great Puerto Rican baseball player who died in a plane crash on December 31, 1972.

Islip New York Park Ordinances

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 8:00 a.m. year round and close at 9:00 p.m. from Memorial Day to Labor Day and at 5:00 p.m. all other times of the year.

*All persons ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

*The following are prohibited; alcohol, defacing public property, harming wildlife, littering, pets.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles.
