Agnes Haywood Playground
Welcome to New York City's Agnes Haywood Playground located in the Bronx off of east 216th Street. This urban playground is named for Agnes Haywood, a woman who grew up in New York City and eventually served on the Board of Child Welfare. Haywood was also an active member of her church and played a very active role in her children's lives by serving on the PTA at their school. Thus it only makes sense that they would name a place where children go play after a woman who did so much for children. Come out and have fun!
